7 weeks ago I had a fall. I was able to get into Brightside very quickly to be assessed. Over the following weeks Tom has worked with me to literally get me back on my feet. He has listened to me and answered any questions I've had and helped me regain mobility.

For too many years I’d been sceptical about the benefits of physiotherapy as I hadn’t enjoyed working with one in the past. Brightside gathered enough info prior to the first appointment and even asked what my expectations. Then, they delivered!
Kristen is a magician!! She’s very knowledgeable and very good at what she does. Totally recommend Brightside Physio and Kristen.

I have been so pleased with the treatment that Kristen at Brightside Physio has provided for my ballet-related ankle injury. She is compassionate, personable, professional and has a seemingly inexhaustible knowledge base. The injury that had seemed to just hang about for months prior to treatment responded so quickly to her regimen of exercises and manual manipulation techniques. She is also just a gem of a person. I had my first appointment at Brightside Physio in Lambton with James, and I honestly cannot say enough about his compassion, care and communication as well as his professionalism. So far his advice and assistance has been extremely helpful and I would have no hesitation in recommending Brightside Physio to anyone who is looking for excellent care.
Listened to me rather than tell me what I needed. I ended up pleased and happy - with exercises rather than medication, which was what I wanted. Delighted and will return.

Brightside Physio has absolutely wonderful, caring and support physiotherapists who take the time to provide the best care and treatment for every client. Each physiotherapist explains in detail what therapy they are providing and answers questions in easy to understand terms. I have being visiting Ben since he decided to return to Newcastle to live (and work) from the Big Smoke aka Sydney. Each visit results in pain relief and the ability to move as gracefully as possible.
Kristen or James will stand in if Ben is not available. Brightside staff are a great team who work as a team for the benefit of each and every client. Definitely will continue to be utilising this AMAZING business.

Kristen you are a super star. After seeing a lot of different people for my gut issues, it was suggested I go see a physio. I thought this was a long shot , but what the heck give it a go, what can I lose. Well Kristen has helped me very quickly and has excellent advise. Thank you so much, I am really grateful.
Ben is very thorough, attentive and uses a whole-person health approach. Taking the time to ask questions, in order to understand how I am being impacted by a physical concern, what is important to me in relation to movement, and what is necessary to move forward. Highly recommended.

James is amazing & so approachable! I can ask him any question, and he takes the time to answer in detail! He did a full pre assessment & is helping get me ready for a much needed knee replacement! He demonstrates the exercises & makes sure I’m doing them properly so they are easy to do at home! He easily swaps out exercises to ensure I’ll follow them at home!

James was extremely thorough during my initial consultation. His treatment of my sore bits was well targeted. I came away secure in the knowledge that he will make a big difference to my mobility.
I can highly recommend this physiotherapist! From the moment I was greeted by Bec at the front desk with her friendly smile, I felt comfortable. I have reinjured an old shoulder injury. Ben is the most wholistic physiotherapist I’ve seen in YEARS! He has helped me with a stiff back that I’ve been trying to fix with other physics for years AND after a recent ankle re-injury, got me back walking in speedy Gonzales time!
Combine Ben’s physio with regular maintenance massage with incredible Emma (who also works with the Knights and Jets), and your body is a well oiled working machine!
The teamwork of this organisation, their care for overall well-being is second to none!
Do yourself a favour, and book in!

I've only seen Ben once for trouble with my knee and hip but the exercises he gave me are working alright. Ben is so easy to talk to &listens to everything you have to say. I highly recommend him
The reason I went there first was that Ben was the son of a long time family friend!

The reason I will keep going is that he is friendly, knowledgeable, prompt, skilful & engaged with my own issue (even to the point of addressing another physical limitation I had in order to help me better work on recovery for the current injury!)
They let you know “We are working on this together”.

I suffer chronic pain from a sporting injury and have had two major surgeries. No other physio has been able to really help me with the recovery except Ben. He thinks outside the box with rehab and is always encouraging me to keep up my strength training. I highly recommend Ben!
I have been unable to go for walks (even 15 mins) without immense lower back pain. I have been seeing Ben for a few weeks now and I've started walking pain-free for the first time in a long time. Super grateful for his expertise, care and help. Highly recommend.
Also, if you're in need of a really good remedial massage, definitely see Emma. I learnt that you don't have to be in immense pain during remedial massage to get the benefits and my leg swelling/pain is almost gone!

I contacted Ben at Brightside on Monday morning regarding experiencing pain in my right shoulder. I attended the practice at midday and Ben went to work sorting out the cause of the problem. After an hours consultation and treatment I felt confident that I had made the right decision. On Tuesday, I was certain as the shoulder pain had lessened considerably, and now on Wednesday my pain has almost gone. I know that with follow up treatments and advise from Ben, that the problem will not return.
